Meet Caroline ‑ new administrative project manager at STC

Tell us a little about your background, how did you get here?

I have previously worked with recruitment and leadership, in the recruitment industry and travel industry. I have a BA in social science from Mid Sweden University, and I find the research at STC very intriguing from a societal perspective, which is why I applied for the job in the first place. I also enjoy the international environment!

What are you going to work with here at STC?

I will work with, among other things, internationalization and sustainability issues within and close to our research projects. These areas are often central parts of research applications that needs follow up during the projects. I am also looking into our internal processes when it comes to recruitment and welcoming of researchers and doctoral students from countries outside of Sweden, to see if we can improve and simplify our way of working.

How has your time been here at Mid Sweden University so far?

I‘ve received a very warm welcoming at STC! To experience the organization from an employee perspective instead of a student perspective has been exciting as well as educational. I learn new things every day!
